Responsibilities
- Provides leadership on the day-to-day operation of entire VISMIN Sales and Marketing Team
- Formulate and execute strategic plans by monitoring and adapting trade programs to local market dynamics, competitive environment, and market opportunities.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards adapted to local culture.
- Conducts Operations Review and discuss the following:
- Sales Update
- Distributor Performance
- AR and Collections Update
- Order Fill Rate and Business Unit Performance
- Factors Affecting Sales
- Budget Monitoring
- Brand Management
- Trade Marketing
- Consolidated Management Report
- Manages topline sales targets and operational budget requirements
- Review Brand profitability and desired minimum product margins
- Review brand performance on a regional basis, channel level and competitive performance.
- Review raw materials and packaging materials sourcing and pricing to ensure profitability.
- Checks and verifies that Trade marketing activities are relevant and gives needed support to brand.
- Strategizes brand plans and direction.
- Increases management’s efficiency and effectiveness through pro-active leadership.
- Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
- Represents head office and manage distributor partners in VISMIN area.
- Spearheads brand development in terms of New Product Development and bran extension.
- Performs other work-related tasks as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements:
- College Graduate – Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate studies (a plus but not necessary)
- At least 10 years of experience as a Commercial Director for an FMCG company or similar
