Responsibilities
- Processing, recording and payment of vessel running expenses; reconciling balance account in compliance with established policies and SOX procedures and providing accounting support to other personnel.
- Provide Financial reports in an effective and efficient way, in accordance with SOX requirements.
- Provide compliance to audit requirements. (Operation, Financial, Internal controls, SOX)
- Provide support to people in the Organization relating to procedures, technical know-how, and project compliance.
- Provide payments to vendors, and with inter-company account settlements.
Main Tasks:
- Vessel Accounting (OPEX reporting)
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation (BSR) preparation
- Cash Management. (Invoicing, IC Funding requisition)
- Accounts Payable Management. (Payment of Invoices)
- Cost distribution (OPEX) to vessels from LNGF
- Posting of OPEX. (accrual, actual)
- Coordinate/Lead/Participate in Corporate Social Responsibility projects, Corporate Social Sports activities.
- Provide updated and reliable PO list. • Engage in professional and inter-personal training related to work
Requirements:
- Hold a University/College degree in Accountancy or similar (preferably Certified Public Accountant)
- Be knowledgeable of International Financial Reporting Standards
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- At least 4-5 years of intensive experience in Accounting
- Have leadership experience
Skills:
- High Analytical Skills/ Knowledgeable of Atlas system for financial reporting /Advance level Microsoft excel Good collaboration skills Knowledgeable of AMOS system for Purchase Order Advance skill in Microsoft dynamics AX (accounting system) for financial reporting Knowledgeable in Eye share for invoice processing /Experienced and proven track record of accounting services to clients
